What is the FireFan Sports App?
FireFan is a new, interactive app for sports that is not at all like fantasy. You actually get to play the game alongside the real event.
After you set up your profile, get ready for game day! Fire Fan is a game changer in the you can play alongside a real sports events with friends and celebs.
Here’s how it works:
Before and during a live sports game, you’ll get to answer a series of questions about the game, players or team. Your objective is to make the right predictions. When you do, you earn points.
The points you receive vary depending on your answer. You may see questions about predicting the opening kickoff or if a particular player will pass for at least 250 yards.
Tokens serve as the FireFan currency. You can purchase tokens or earn them by watching advertisements during the game. Either way, you can earn cool loyalty rewards by making the right predictions.
You can also connect with your social networks and friends who are also playing the game.
Don’t take it from me. Check out this video which shows you how the game is played!

What is Fantasy Sports?
Fantasy sports has been a popular pastime for many years, as far back as 1960. That year, a fantasy baseball league began in Boston. Harvard University sociologist William Gamson started the “Baseball Seminar” where colleagues would form rosters that earned points on the players’ final standings in batting average, RBI, ERA and wins.
Fast forward to present time and fantasy sport online games are more popular than ever.
Wikipedia said it best: A fantasy sport is a type of online game where participants assemble imaginary or virtual teams of real players of a professional sport. These teams compete based on the statistical performance of those players’ players in actual games.
So who plays fantasy sport games? An estimated 56 million people in North America, that’s who! Some games include FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftDay.
You can see how popular it is. It’s a sport game where you risk and win real money. It’s all legal deu to The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, which Congress passed in 2006. It says fantasy sports are allowed under federal law because they are classified as a game of skill rather than a game of chance.
Even though it’s not considered “gambling”, fantasy sports games are prohibited in certain states. You can learn more about that here.
Fantasy sports and the FireFan app are very different. Which one is better? It’s not a matter of better or worse, just which type of game you prefer.
- Fantasy sports involves imaginary teams based on real sports players.
- FireFan involves making predictions before and during a live sport event while interacting with friends, family and MVPs.
There you go. Which do you prefer? Maybe both!
